23-year-old man commits suicide in Dhawanpur, audio message identifying the accused found by police
Three men in Gurgaon were booked for abetment suicide by the Government Railway Police (GRP) on 4th April 2022, Monday. The case was registered after the death of a 23-year-old man in Gurgaon. The man had allegedly committed suicide. He had jumped in front of a train after claiming that the three had tortured him.

The case was registered after the death of a 23-year-old man in Gurgaon. The man had allegedly committed suicide. He had jumped in front of a train after claiming that the three had tortured him. The man had stated the same in an audio message that was recovered by the police. The audio was recovered while the police were probing the case.
The 23-year-old man was identified as Kamal. He was a Feroz Gandhi colony resident. He had allegedly jumped in front of a train. The train Bareilly Express was passing by in Dhawanpur. The case then went up to the GRP (Government Railway Police).
The police further probed the issue. contained the identification of the three men who had tortured the man. The death of the man had taken place on 2nd April 2022, according to the official statement of the police. The body could not be identified easily by the police initially. It was kept in the mortuary until further identification.
It was later identified as the body of a 23-year-old man named Kamal. On investigating the suicide, the police found an audio message from the man. The audio message that was found on his mobile phone claimed that the three men had been harassing him.
The three men accused were booked by the police for abetment of suicide. “In the recording, the victim can be purportedly heard mentioning the names of three persons, whom he claimed were responsible for his death.”, said Ramphal, SHO, GRP police station, Gurgaon.
The police further added that the victim’s family had registered an FIR for the death. The family stated that Kamal was harassed by the three men. The men had forced him to sell narcotics (smack). Kamal was constantly beaten up by the men when he refused to do so.
However, the police are cross verifying the family’s statements and the audio message received. The Dhawanpur railway station case was registered on Monday. The accused was booked for abetment of suicide (sections 306) and acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention (section 34) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
The case was booked by the Gurgaon police. This was not the first time such a case took place in Gurgaon. A similar FIR has registered a month ago. A 28-year-old man committed suicide after two men had harassed him.
The weapon retrieved from the man was a licensed revolver. The man was identified as Ravi Singh. He worked as a security professional. Singh had shot himself in Sector 83. The incident took place in his residential colony, in a scheduled area. The police after probing further into the matter retrieved a video from the man.
The video was left behind by his brother Ashish Singh. Ashish received a video from his brother where he was crying and claiming that two men had harassed him to suicide. The two men were identified as Jasmine and Lalit. Ravi Singh went on the claim in the video that he was not able to live under such conditions anymore. The case was finally registered under abetment for suicide and the two men were booked.
