Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker unofficially tied the knot in Las Vegas
Hours after the Grammys 2022 ceremony came to an end, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker shared photos of their surprise wedding. The couple made vows in a midnight ceremony in Vegas where an Elvis impersonator officiated the wedding. The couple was not given a license so the marriage might not be legal.
Kourtney shared a post on Instagram about their secret wedding in which she wrote, “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2 am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.” This post from Kourtney suggests that it wasn’t an official wedding but rather an act of love they behold for each other.
Details about the ceremony
The ceremony was held at the One Love Wedding Chapel at 1:45 a.m. where the Kardashian and Barker arrived dressed in the same clothes that they had put on for the Grammy 2022. The couple was dressed in matching black outfits. In Kardashian’s photos, it can be seen that they had switched clothes before the ceremony. During the ceremony, the couple was accompanied by four people, of whom three were filming and one provided security.
Once the wedding was done, the couple tossed the bouquet on the driveway and were found dancing to the music played by Elvis. They were seen having a lot of fun and their affection for each other shined bright. The first time when dating rumors came into the picture was way back in December 2020.
The couple confirmed their love and dating rumors on Instagram in February 2021. They got engaged just eight months later. It took place when Travis popped the question in a dreamy, beachside proposal at the Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, California. Kourtney got engaged to Travis in October 2021 and it’s obvious that the families “get along well” and a wedding ceremony is on the horizon.
