Mammootty is one of the prominent and brilliant actors in the Malayalam movie industry. For this, he is tagged as “MEGASTAR MAMMOOTTY“ by his beloved fans. He made his debut as a junior artist in the movie “Anubavangal Paalichakal” in the year 1971. Six years after his debut, he appeared in front of the camera in the first lead role in the film “Devalokam”.His portrayal of Sethurama Iyer in “Oru CBI diary Kurippu” garnered him a large number of fans and viewers.

This investigation thriller movie was released in 1988. Furthermore, three more parts of the movie series were released. Jagratha, the second part of this series, was released with a one-year gap from the first part. Following this, the next part of this movie series, Sethurama Iyer CBI, was released in 2004, with a vast time difference between the first two parts. The fourth part, Nerariyan CBI, was released in the year 2005. All the series of this movie were successful equally. The credit goes to the director, K. Madhu, and writer, S. N. Swamy, for sticking with the interesting thriller element throughout the series.

The spectators of this CBI film series were eagerly waiting for the release of its fifth part. According to their desire, the movie crew announced the fifth part, “CBI 5: The Brain,” to be released on May 1. The Malayalam industry’s megastar will return to the big screen in his iconic role as a Central Bureau of Investigation officer. The other cast members of the series are supposed to be the same as in the previous parts. It’s been 17 years since the release of the fourth part. The news was released by Mammootty himself through his Twitter account to the fans. The movie will be released worldwide.

The other leading cast members are Mukesh, Saikumar, Renji Panicker, Asha Sarath, Dileesh Pothan, Ramesh Pisharody, and many others. This is Mammootty’s continuous release after the outcome of the movie Bheeshma Parva. Mammootty has a busy schedule as his other movie, Puzhu will be released after CBI 5: The Brain hits the big screen.
