The City of Dreams has been tolerating the unusual climatic change for a few days.
On Thursday, April 21, 2022, in many parts of Maharashtra, the rainfall is recorded at less than 0.1 mm including the capital Mumbai, and the City of Lakes, Thane. The rainfall is predicted to happen in deserted areas of both city and the outskirts as well. The people of the state have a little repose, as it gives a little hiatus for them, from the hot summer days.
An Unusual Falling Temperature Mumbai
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the rainfall is likely to be recorded at a light to moderate level. The rainfall is expected to happen in the abandoned places of the state. Today’s weather is recorded as partly sunny and less humid. Tonight, in Mumbai, the temperature will fall from 37 C to 29 C. Lightning and thunderstorms are forecasted to happen till April 23, 2022. Wind gusts of up to 30-40 kph are also expected in isolated areas until April 23rd.
Thunderstorms with lightning and rainfall are expected to hit the isolated areas of the centralized areas of Maharashtra. It will be continued till Saturday of this week. The IMD has announced yellow alerts for the following districts in Maharashtra: Pune, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Osmanabad, Latur, Sindhudurg, and Nanded are expected to get rain for the next three days. The average temperature in Mumbai in April is 78.9 F. The forecasters indicated that the capital city may get wet today in the suburban regions.
