On Tuesday, the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 experienced its biggest drop in box office yet, yet it still had one of the finest first Tuesday hauls in history.
The film made Rs 19.14 crore on day six of its distribution in the Hindi belt, according to trade expert Taran Adarsh, after earning an astonishing Rs 25 crore on its opening day.
The film has now grossed Rs 238 crore in the Hindi belt.
The Yash-starrer has grossed more than Rs 645 crore worldwide, surpassing analyst Manobala Vijaybalan’s projection of Rs 625 crore on Monday. KGF 2 has eclipsed Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Secret Superstar, PK, 2.0, and Baahubali: The Beginning to become India’s eighth highest-grossing picture.
 KGF 2 has the highest first weekend collections for an Indian film. It has beaten the record previously held by Baahubali 2 by a good margin.
— KGF: Chapter 2 has scored the highest first-weekend collection for any film released in 2022. It has defeated RRR and Sooryavanshi to reach this milestone.
— KGF 2 scored two 50 crore net days in the first weekend itself- on Thursday and Sunday. This has happened for the first time in box office history.Â
After the success of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash has been spending time with his family and is on a vacation with his wife Radhika Pandit. Meanwhile, a third KGF film has also been teased in the post-credits scene of Chapter 2.Â
Today, the film will surpass the international box office totals of the first Baahubali film and 2.0, making it India’s seventh-highest grossing film of all time.
