A huge moment of pride for India as Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be representing India as a jury member at the world’s most prestigious film festival, Cannes Film Festival 2022.
Deepika has been a reoccurring celebrity at the festival since 2017 when she first made her appearance on the red carpet of the world event. Her outfits from the film festivals throughout the years have been iconic since. This will be the 75th instalment of the legendary festival that is celebrated all around the globe.
Other than Deepika Padukone the jury consists of Vincent Lindon (president of the jury), Rebecca Hall, Asghar Farhadi, Trinca, Ladj Ly, Noomi Rapace, Jeff Nichols and Joachim Trier including Deepika are competition members. They will be responsible to choose this year’s Palme d’Or Honours as they all will together choose the best films in the global film industries.
While the jury announced her as a part of their own they praised the Bollywood actress making the country proud of the actress even more. They described her as, “Indian Actress, producer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Deepika Padukone, is a huge star in her country, With over 30 feature films to her credit.

Deepika was seen at the dinner with her new jury members, she can be seen wearing a beautiful look designed by Louis Vuitton. She is the first brand ambassador of the prestigious Louis Vuitton, she has even modelled the brand before the deal with the brand came through.

She will be seen wearing LV at the Cannes this year due to her collaboration with the luxury brand. Her Instagram is a good example of how to promote a brand, with a fan base of millions and online followers of around 66.4 M Louis Vuitton made the correct decision in choosing her as their brand ambassador.
Deepika has proven time and time again that she is a very talented individual with her hard work in acting as well as being a strong role model for the upcoming future generation.
