Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wants to start caste-based census in Bihar soon by agreeing to the demands of Bihar opposition leader Tejaswi Yadav. He said on Monday that an all-party meeting would be held on May 27 to decide on the issue. He wants to start the work of caste counting after that meeting.
The Chief Minister said, “We will call an all-party meeting to start this caste-based census. I have talked to many people about holding this meeting on 27th May. Many have agreed. Some did not respond. We are waiting for their response, ”he said.
Tejaswi staged a massive protest in Delhi demanding caste-based census. After that Nitish became active with this. He also met with the Leader of the Opposition and made a roadmap for the count. However, knowing that his ally BJP would not support it at all, the Chief Minister became active in this matter. After this meeting, speculations of a new alliance have flooded the political arena.
Nitish Kumar left the RJD in 2017 after breaking the grand alliance He held the hand of BJP Since then, his relationship with Lalu Prasad’s family has reached a low point . Five years after that incident, he set foot in Tejaswi’s house.
Nitish’s growing distance with BJP? Nitish Kumar took over as Bihar Chief Minister in 2020 due to the BJP alliance, but he was dissatisfied with the distribution of seats after the results of the vote. The fact that the dissatisfaction has gradually increased over time can only be understood in the political arena of Bihar. The Chief Minister was recently seen at an Iftar party hosted by Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav. Then the speculation about the anti-regime alliance started.
