The Sea Beast Trailer Review:Â The creator of “Moana” and “Big Hero 6.” joins forces with Netflix to bring another out-of-convention animated family adventure movie.
In 2022, the mythical sea monsters formerly hunted will return in a new chase film on Netflix, this time in cute animated avatars.
A new trailer for Netflix’s upcoming animated family film “The Sea Beast” has been released. It’s the narrative of a sailor/monster hunter that sets sail into unknown territory. In “The Sea Beast,” voice star Karl Urban (the one who recently starred in “The Boys’ as Billy Butcher ) plays monster hunter Jacob Holland, who must come across a tiny adventurer, Maisie Brumble (Zaris-Angel Hator), onboard his huge ship while his team searches for a legendary whale. So the unusual duo joins forces to venture into uncharted land and create history.
Chris Williams (“Moana,” “Big Hero Six”), an Academy Award-winning writer-director, is behind the latest heartwarming Netflix project, which will be released on July 8. Jared Harris, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Dan Stevens, and Kathy Burke star in the film co-written by Nell Benjamin. This film is also said to be the first completely independent project of Chris Williams.
According to the narrative line, the movie depicts “a lovely seafarer who travels into unexplored waters and encounters an odd ally in a sea monster,” per the narrative line. The fanciful animals that decorated 16th and early 17th-century nautical maps served as inspiration for the film. Their existence points to the unknown countries that lie beyond the known world’s limits.
In a statement, Williams stated, “‘Jacob and the Sea Beast’ is the kind of story I’ve always wanted to take on.” “It’s a high-adventure story in which our hero departs the known world and sets sail into unknown waters. It just so happens that I’m doing the same thing. ”
Netflix has made a significant investment in original animated programs in recent months. The studio has announced that it will support Guillermo del Toro’s stop-motion rendition of “Pinocchio” as well as Glen Keane’s animated fantasy picture “Over the Moon.” Melissa Cobb, a former Dreamworks Animation executive who was appointed in 2017 to lead Netflix’s kids and family team, has overseen much of this effort.
