Nikamma is an upcoming Hindi-language action-comedy movie starring Abhimanyu Dasani, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty as lead characters will be released on 17 Jun 2022. The movie is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sony Pictures India. Nikamma movie is a remake of 2017 Telugu film (MCA) written by Venu Shriram.
Nikamma is featuring Abhimanyu Dasani playing the role of Adi, who is the eponymous ‘Nikamma’, a slacker. Shirley Setia is playing the role of a girl who saw A di and instantly fall in love with him. Shilpa Shetty is
superwoman Avni with very strict standards and a disciplined lady, Bhabhi and wife of Adi’s brother Samir Soni is playing this role and trying to change Adi behavior and his point of view towards life. As she allots all the household to him in the hope to make him a responsible person.
As going through the trailer we can see he calls her the most ‘gorgeous villain in the whole world who is a mix of “Thunder Woman” and “Manjulika”.
Going by the trailer, we can see the chemistry between Abhimanyu and Shirley in the movie as Shirley fell for him at first sight moreover the relation between “Devar-Bhabhi” Abhimanyu and Shilpa respectively is
tensed as Shipla has seen treating Abhimanyu as a spoiled brat and put restrictions on him to change him as the result Abhimanyu finds her the Supervillain of his life and try to save himself. As a hitman threatens the
superhero, the Nikamma transforms into a hero and protects Shilpa from him by defeating him with his intelligence and courage.

So, this movie is the starting point of Shirley’s career as this is her debut in Bollywood Shirley Setia is a popular singer and national crush of Indian youth who has given her voice to so many super hit songs and even Shilpa Shetty is back on the big screen after a “hiatus of 15 years”. Before that, her last big-screen release was Apne movie in 2007
Shilpa speaks about her character in an interview “Avni is one of the most challenging characters in my acting career yet I enjoyed practicing and playing this role”. Abhimanyu made his acting debut in 2018 with the action film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, for which he won Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He has since starred in the Netflix romantic-comedy Meenakshi Sundareshwar.

If we talk about songs of the movie then the title track of the movie “kammina” is a remake of a super hit song from 2002, by the movie Kyaa Dil Ne Kaha which starred Tusshar Kapoor and Esha Deol.
The first half of the track is what the audience can expect from any dance number of late as it is a remake of the original, but it develops into a cringe-inducing rap in the later half as a conclusion this new dance number takes place in a disco. Musician-duo Javed-Mohsin has collaborated with director Sabbir Khan again after their acclaimed Munna Michael track,Ding dong. Composed by Javed and with lyrics by Danish Sabri, the song is sung by Dev Negi, Payal Dev, and Dianne Sequira.
Another song from the movie named “Tere bin kya” is a romantic song that is projecting the chemistry between Abhimanyu and Shirley sung by Shruti Rane and Dev Negi, kumaar is the lyricist and the music is by Gaurav Dasgupta followed by another song “killer” is starring Abhimanyu, Shirley and Shilpa. They can be seen in Indian ethnic avatar in the song and Abhimanyu is giving a competition to Shilpa in the song.
In conclusion, this movie is an Action-Comedy film, a mixture of comedy and action which is also a recreation of MCA, Middle Class Abhayi written by Venu Shriram. If you are looking for laughter with some awesome fight scenes this is the movie for you.
