Bollywood actor and assistant director Siddhanth Kapoor is on his way back home after getting bail. He is the son of the known virtuoso film personality Shakti Kapoor and the elder brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor was held on charges of consuming drugs at a party in Bengaluru on June 12. He was arrested on June 13 and was released on bail on June 14. Today, June 15, boarded the flight back to his home in Mumbai.
Bollywood actor Siddhanth Kapoor was arrested along with four others for testing positive in the drug reports. He was arrested at a rave party of about 35 people, where 14 were women and 21 men. It was a rave party at I-Bar, a nightclub at The Park hotel in MG Road, Bengaluru. Police raided the place early on Monday.
All of them claimed that they did not take drugs. Although, they were all subjected to medical tests, and according to the reports five of them including the actor was found accused of drug intake. According to police, they found two packets of drugs, seven tablets, allegedly of MDMA, and five grams of ganja near the trash can. Of the two packets earlier mentioned, one had four rose-colored pills and the other had three blue-colored pills.
Police also seized seven ‘ecstasy’ pills and a packet of marijuana from the party spot. Police said it was unclear if they consumed drugs and came to the party or if they consumed them at the hotel. Sources also said that the actor’s mobile phone has been confiscated and is being examined for chats about narcotics.
The accused were registered under Section 22A, 22B and 27B of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act after a blood test on 35 of the detainees revealed usage of drugs of which 5 were found guilty, as said by the police officers of Bengaluru Ulsoor police station in its FIR.
“It is confirmed that Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor took drugs. He tested positive for drugs in the blood test report. Hence, he has been brought to Ulsoor police station,” the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dr. Bheemashankar. S. Guled, told reporters.
No one in the nightclub asserted the ownership of drugs. The police are also looking for drug peddlers. The 5-star hotel owner and the organizers of the rave party have been sent notices. The event management company representatives are also being called for questioning.
As per this Bollywood celebrity, he was tricked into taking drugs after being questioned by police on being granted bail in the drug case against him. He said that the cigarettes and drinks had drugs in them, hence he tested positive by unknowingly consuming them. However, the police arrested Siddhanth Kapoor, Akhil Soni, a business manager at a software company, Harjot Singh, the logistics head of a start-up, Hani Rafeeque, a digital marketing employee, and Akhil, a freelance photographer.
Today on June 15, Siddhanth Kapoor is on his way back to home after getting bail. He too posted a selfie with the DJ on board his flight as a hint on his way back to his home. This was his first picture since he was arrested for this case. He posted the selfie as an Instagram story.

The police have recorded the statement. He will cooperate and he will come for investigative purposes. Anytime he’s asked to come, he will cooperate with the police. “
