Demurrers against the new reclamation scheme in fortified forces, Agneepath, spread across several countries in the country. What’s Agneepath Scheme?
The scheme is called AGNEEPATH and the youth named under this scheme will be known as Agniveers. AGNEEPATH allows nationalistic and motivated youth to serve in the Armed Forces for a period of four times.
According to the government, the AGNEEPATH scheme has been designed to enable an immature profile of the Armed Forces. It’ll give an occasion to the youth who may be keen to slip the livery by attracting youthful gifts from the society who are more in tune with contemporary technological trends and plough back professed, disciplined and motivated force into the society.
As for the Armed Forces, it’ll enhance the immature profile of the Armed Forces and give a fresh parcel of “‘ Josh ’ and ‘ Jazba ’” at the same time bring about a transformational shift towards a further tech expertise Armed Forces – which is indeed the need of the hour. It’s imaged that the average age profile of Indian Fortified forces would come down by about 4- 5 times by perpetration of this scheme.

The demurrers which started in Bihar have now spread to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Violence was reported from Chhapra, Jehanabad, Munger and Nawada in Bihar. The protestors demand the pullout of the 4- time term.
