PCR was called to Police Station Mohan Garden on June 23rd about a homicide near Lal Farm. An unnamed woman’s chunni had been used to strangle her to death, according to local authorities. A murder case was reported, and the body of the victim was discovered.
The victim’s CDR and CCTV video were examined by the authorities throughout the inquiry. Any precise information might potentially be obtained via the use of informers. The team was able to identify the suspect Ajay, a native of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, as having an extramarital affair with the victim based on technology and manual monitoring.
Technical monitoring led the team to begin pursuing him. In Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, police launched a number of searches on his suspected hiding places. At long last, he was taken up by police in the Uttam Nagar district.
All of the victim’s cell phone and clothing were found in his possession, along with a few other items.
Interrogation showed that the accused met the victim a year ago and that they had been together ever since. The victim has been demanding money and threatening to accuse him of a bogus case for the previous several days. As a result, he devised a plot to murder her. The victim’s sister-in-law was in Delhi last week when she came on a visit. The accused has also come to Delhi to carry out his scheme.
The accused called the victim on June 22nd and invited her out for the evening. After that, he went to Mohan Garden and picked up the victim. At twelve o’clock in the morning, he strangled the woman to death with her chunni before fleeing the scene. He also snatched the victim’s mobile phone.
