OP Rajbhar at the dinner organized by CM Yogi Adityanath cleared his intentions about his UP 2022 assembly election ally Akhilesh Yadav. Set the Deadline For Akhilesh of 12 July for the response.
From the day when the results of the assembly election have been announced and confirmed the clear victory of the Yogi and Modi factor over SP led alliance. Results were not in the favour of the alliance of SP, SBSP, and RLD. Political scholars had started speculating on Rajbhar’s stand after losing the election at the polls.
However, Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party did well as compared to 2017, and they are also the biggest opposition party in Vidhansabha, so they always will be on the edge.
While according to Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief OP Rajbhar the increment in the number of seats of the Samajwadi Party was because of his influence in Poorvanchal and all the factors of losing go to Jayant Chaudhary and his party Rashtriya Janta Dal. Jayant failed to achieve the success which was expected from him or which he assured.
Rajbhar always shows himself, as the front-runner, in the alliance after Akhilesh and strengthened his position throughout the campaigns or interviews. Now he feels sidelined when SP supports Jayant Yadav instead of him for the Rajyasabha poll as a representative from UP.
According to Political Analysts, this behavior of Akhilesh Yadav towards him left him disheartened. Rajbhar’s presence at the dinner with the presidential candidate of NDA Draupadi Murmu hosted by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a noticeable sign for the opposition.
Though when a meeting is held by Samajwadi Party for the discussion of the opposition’s candidate Yashvant Sinha, Rajbhar was absent with his seven MLAs and Jayant attended that meeting. This made clear what the SBSP chief is thinking.
The tension between these two overstepped after the results of the Loksabha by-poll election for Rampur and Azamgarh seats result, according to the SBSP chief his party workers and leaders campaigned for the SP candidate in Azamgarh, but Samajwadi Party didn’t campaign for his candidate and especially their Chief Akhilesh seems to be not interested and the result was BJP won both seats.
The call has to be taken by Akhilesh by 12 July about the future of the alliance.
Political drama became more interesting because Urban local body elections are due later this year and the OBC vote bank of Rajbhar could play a potential role. Instead of this 2024 is not that far from where the Loksabha election will take place, every knows UP’s role will influence the results directly. Rajbhar has a massive OBC vote bank in UP.
Deadline For Akhilesh, So It’s the final chance for Akhilesh. BJP the past ally of Rajbhar cleared the door of NDA is not merely close for him, and we witnessed early the capability of this alliance.
The last time when Rajbhar came with the BJP in the 2017 assembly election, Samajwadi Party was not able to clear even half the number of seats of the alliance. A rift arose between the two because the BJP denied offering a single seat to SBSP in the 2019 Loksabha election. But time changes itself and no one knows the future premises.
Deadline For Akhilesh, If Rajbhar joins the NDA again then this will be a potential loss for Akhilesh and Samajwadi Party too after all in the percentage SBSP’s performance was definitely better than any other member of the alliance.
