INC President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday appointed new congress secretaries, five of the names follow like these Sridhar Babu, P C Vishnunad, Roji M John, Mayura S Jayakumar and Abhishek Dutt are two secretaries Kuldeep Rai Sharma and Raminder Awla.
Congress party showed appreciation for their regardless work towards the committee (AICC). The new congress secretaries were appointed with the general secretary in charge of Karnataka immediately (Official statement made by the party). Sonia Gandhi set up a team of 22 members for committee affairs: Namely: convenor surreal, PCC chief D.K Shivakumar, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and M Veerappan Moily. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Senior Party leaders B K Hariprasad, Dinesh Gundurao, Margret Alva, D K Suresh and parties task force member Sunil Kanugolu, among its members. Meanwhile, former MP and Congress spoke person Rajeev Gowda claims that BJP dropped Mr B S Yediyurappa the most popular leader Now which is going to hit them back from the Lingayat community. He said BJP is also practising divisive politics, hijab row, Halal row and azan loudspeaker row. Congress is also looking to win 130+ seats in the next state assembly election but is still unable to show a united front with senior leaders striving to be seen as followed to be in the line of chief minister post.
It is not only the former CM Siddaramaiah who led the congress govt for years, Even D K Shivakumar did as a President of KPCC. But still many seniors on the list. The gap between Karnataka congress leaders widens again in the battle for the CM post. The party high command has yet to announce the candidate’s name for the upcoming Elections. The controversy over the CM post rose after Siddaramaiah’s followers announced a month-long programme in his honour called Siddaramotsava. Which is seen as an attempt to send a message to the party high command, ahead of polls.
D K Shiva kumar said,”The party is important than a person”.
Rahul Gandhi is likely to participate in the event. Polls are going to be held in Karnataka next year and Congress is preparing for the election fight, to grab the power from the hands of the BJP.
