West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday launched a cutting attack on the conciliation politics of the Mamata Banerjee government within the state, which, he contended, was destroying the substance of the republic.
The governor also contended that there is” no space available within the state for political exertion of opposition parties”. Dhankhar also claimed that it will produce a” serious imbalance” in society.
Dhankhar claimed that development and commission are” communalized” within the state in terms of finance and government jobs.” Communalised patronage is contrary to popular values. We’re witnessing extreme conciliation. This conciliation will destroy our republic,” he said at the Bagdogra field
The Governor also contended that the Mamata- led government has turned the functionaries into dollies of the ruling party.
