What is Inspiration 4?
Elon Musk, the famous entrepreneur’s SpaceX, plans a spaceflight “Inspiration4” for four4 people. This four-person spaceflight is scheduled for September 15, 2021. The three-day journey will be the first private citizen-only crewed spaceflight to orbit Earth.
SpaceX will execute the voyage privately, using a previously flown Crew Dragon capsule propelled to low Earth orbit. Jared will be the main sponsor of the flight.
On September 15, 2021, the first all-private citizen flight to space will take off. Since the Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission-4 in 2009, Inspiration4 is the first crewed orbital spaceflight whose primary goal is not to visit an orbital space station.
The Mission
Called Inspiration4, the mission will send four crewmembers on a three-day orbital flight around the Soil.
They will lift off from Dispatch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, riding on a SpaceX Hawk 9 rocket. They will wrap up the three-day travel with a splashdown within the Atlantic Sea.

On August 3, 2021, Netflix announced a documentary series on the space flight Countdown.
In this series, you can follow the four-person crew of the impending mission Inspiration4 as they prepare to launch into space in real-time in the new Netflix documentary: “Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space.”
The crew will be followed throughout their voyage in the four-episode series co-produced with Time Studios, which will reveal their transformation from everyday people to full-fledged astronauts in real-time.

The Crew
Flying on this Inspiration4 mission will be the wealthy business person, entrepreneur and mission commander Jared Isaacman, and geoscientist and science communicator Sian Delegate will serve as the mission’s pilot.

Jared Issacman
