WHAT IS NEP 2020?
The National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020) is a guiding ideology for transforming the learning landscape, making education holistic, and laying solid foundations for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
NEP-2020, which will succeed the National Policy on Education of 1986, is a comprehensive framework covering all levels of education from elementary to higher education in the country.
Because the goal of any educational system is to benefit children so that no child is denied the opportunity to learn and flourish because of their birth circumstances or background, the NEP-20202 has achieved a 100% Gross Enrolment Ratio (GEER) in school education by 2030.
According to the Policy, bridging social gaps in school education access, participation, and learning outcomes will continue to be a significant focus of all education.
WHAT IS EKLAVYA?
In partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) introduced the Eklavya series.
This online instructional programme will aid in the implementation of the new National Education Policy (NEP).
On Teachers’ Day, CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar are teaming up with the Eklavya Series, following the remarkable success of 3030 STEM (1 million views, 5 lakh subscribers) (September 5).
Putting the goal set forth by National Education Policy 2020 into action might be scary. With the Eklavya series, CBSE and IITG for school teachers and administrators attempt to bridge this gap by demystifying NEP and demonstrating how to apply NEP 2020 across schools effectively.
