After a long break the cars movie is back with-it spin-off “Cars On The Road”.
It is produced by Pixar for Disney+ and will be hitting the road on September 8, 2022.
The story is based on anthropomorphic talking cars like lightning McQueen all-time Favorite character of everyone from the series.

Everything we know about the Movie Car On The Road:
The premiere of the movie Car On The Road will be on Disney+ on September 8,2022.
It will be premiere on Disney+ day.
The animated series will also have nine new episodes’ featuring McQueen adventure with best friend Mater.
As a celebration of Disney+ day the fans and subscribers will get new premiere content from its marquee brands like Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and National Geographic.
And also, there will be special hosting session for subscribers.
The Timing at which the new content of Disney+ is posted is around 3 am ET/ 12 am PT so that viewers can watch Pixar series after that.
As this series of Pixar is exclusively streaming on Disney+ you can only stream this on Disney+.
It will not be broadcasted anywhere or any other streaming platform like HBO or Netflix etc.
The series had already released three Cars films plus two animated series called as Cars Toon – Mater’s Tall Tales from 2008 to 2012 and Tales from Radiator Springs from 2013 to 2014.
The story of the Cars movie till now:
The basics story of the Cars series revolves around the McQueen who know to be self-centered, egoist and vain famous racecar driver called as Lightning McQueen in the series.
His dream is to win the coveted Piston Cup but it changes when he finds himself on the abandoned Route 66 which is very isolated town know as Radiator Springs.
During that time McQueen meets Mater, who later becomes his best-friend throughout the journey.
He also got girl-friend name Sally and learned how to become a better person and thinks about others.
And also, thanks to Doc Hudson also known to be famous Hudson Hornet in the series, he had trained him so well for his future race.
Cars On The Road: About the Trailer:
The trailer of spin-off series is a little over two-minutes long, which shows the start of yet another adventures life of McQueen and his bestfriend Mater.
The series is following the journey of McQueen and Mater on the epic cross-country road trip across the United States as their travelling to eastwards to attend the wedding of Mater’s sister.
There will be many up and downs throughout the journey of McQueen and his bestfriend Mater has in few scenarios they have been chased by dinosaur like cars shown in trailer of the movie.
Steve Purcell the director of movie slated as:
“The series is a romp across the country with Lightning McQueen and Mater. Like any real road trip, every day is a new mini-adventure with unexpected twists and turns”.
The series will be highlighting new locations in the movie with some new characters along-with already established characters from the franchise.
In spin-off series the characters from movie Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire & Rescue will also appear in the series.
In addition to voice actor Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy reprising their role for movie Cars On The Road there will be other characters too from Cars franchise will be spotted in the series.
It will be first full-length television series of the Cars franchise.
