With the promotions of the film โLaal Singh Chaddhaโ Aamir Khan is gearing up for its release. The film starring , Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been in the limelight ever since the announcement of ย its release was socially spread across media .
The film since then have been trendingย for both trolls asย well as sincere feedbacks . But the ย most talked about the movie is coming on the silver screens this month. Surprisingly it has taken a quick turn towards trolls calling for โboycottโ of the movie. The reason being , โLaal Singh Chaddhaโ directed by Advait Chandan, is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forest Gump .

Aamir Khan urges people to not boycott Laal Singh Chaddha and claims to be loving India :
A few days back Aamir khan poured his heart out about his thoughts regarding the hashtags like #boycottLaalSinghChaddha that had initially started trending wildly on twitter. To this the Bollywood actor claims to be loving India as much as any other citizen , in contrary to the impressions, some people may have. In a press conference, that was conducted recently, Aamir khan was asked how he was preparing for the promotions and how excited he was for the movieโs release and him returning to the big screen after a long gap of four years.
Later that very day he was heard reacting to the controversy about trolls wanting to boycott the film. He was quoted saying โ If I have hurt anyone by any means, I regret it. I donโt want to hurt anyone . If someone doesnโt want to watch my film Iโd respect their sentimentsโ, but also hoped that the movie reaches out to the maximum audience and satisfy them.

He has further stated that โBoycott Bollywood, Boycott Aamir Khan , Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha , makes me sad and disheartened because a lot of people who are saying this in their hearts believe Iโm someone who is not a nationalist or has no absolute liking towards India. And thatโs quite untrueโ . Thereby asking his fans and weโll-wishers to give his film a fair chance , he further added saying โI want to assure everyone, itโs not the case so please watch my films.โ
Whereas , in a conference, Kareena Kapoor , who plays opposite to Amir in the Advait Chandan starrer , was also asked about her opinion fir the same . She was seen taking a very different take on it . She clearly mentioned that the people have the right to say a lot of things , but one just has to learn to ignore it . Also if a movie is well directed and put forward in a way to satisfy the audience, it will surpass anything. Moreover Kareenaโs controversial statements have also been dug up by haters and netizens who follow the boycott trends throughout every social media handles.
A jibe at Aamir Khan by Kangana Ranaut :
Kangana Ranaut has also been seen taking a jibe at the Amir Khan Starrer calling him โ a mastermind โ . She was also found accusing him for having started this new boycott trend followed by negative comments on his own films to gain more exposure and publicity . To this the filmmaker Advait Chandan took to his Instagram stories to counter back at Kangana Ranaut . He stated โ I am told there are people being paid to troll Aamir sir . This is deeply unsettling to hear and itโs outright unfair . Why have I been trolling him for free?

Apart of this , in a very recent press conference, held in Kolkata, Akshay Kumar was asked for his views on the trend for boycotting films like โRaksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha โ . To this he said โ if you donโt feel like watching the movie , then donโt . Itโs a free country and the film is out there , so if someone wants to watch it or not , itโs up to them. I would like to tell you no matter what ,which industry it is , all of these help the economy .But boycotting movies , doesnโt make sense.โ
Refusing to be an audience and and disapprove a movie , is a personal choice . But not letting a movie feature on the big screen is unfair .
