Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the head of the Telangana BJP, was detained today after calling for a demonstration at Jangaon.
The BJYM workers’ beating by police, while they were protesting in front of TRS MLC Kavitha’s home, prompted the call for the demonstration.
Following a demonstration at the MLC’s Hyderabad home on Monday, a fight broke out between TRS employees and BJYM employees.
Later, the police got involved and stabilized the situation.
Members of the BJP Mahila Morcha and the BJYM were protesting after certain BJP officials accused Kavitha of being involved in the Delhi excise policy fraud. However, Kavitha denied the accusations and threatened to sue anyone who shared false information.
On Tuesday as he called for statewide demonstrations against the detention of party members the previous day outside the residence of lawmaker Kalvakuntla Kavitha of the governing Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Hyderabad. The employees were demonstrating against Kavitha’s suspected participation in the liquor scandal involving Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi.
Police arrested Sanjay just as he was preparing to hold a sit-in in Jangaon. Before hundreds of troops dispersed them and removed Sanjay, BJP members opposed his arrest and blocked police cars. Numerous BJP workers were hurt as a result of police lathi charges.
BJP members attempted to occupy Kavitha’s home, the daughter of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on Monday. in banjara hills, HYD, demanding action against her.
Kavitha plans to ask for an injunction.
Kavitha has stated that she will ask the court to issue an injunction order against the accusers.
“The claims made against me are unfounded. I have no connection to the allegations made in the Delhi Excise scam.
They have control over every agency. They are capable of conducting any necessary research. We’ll work together entirely “said K Kavitha.
She continued by claiming that the BJP is attempting to damage the name of her family because our chief minister, KCR, has been outspoken in his criticism of the policies of the union government.
