MV Agusta comes with the new segment 2022 F3 RR that has incredible specifications & outstanding user reviews. It costs approximately 18.2 lakh Indian rupees.               Â
The governing body of motorcycles, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), is racing is to introduce new rules to include 800cc triples and 900cc twin classes in the World SSP Championship.
In anticipation of the announcement, MV Agusta unveiled the 2022 F3 RR, the ultimate version of the Italian brand’s middleweight supersport.Â
The design of the 2022 MV Agusta is the most desirable change in this segment. Although supersport is trying not to change the charisma of the original design, the new aerodynamic package is the new add on to side-mounted strakes, a super cool windscreen, and a new race-ready front fender that deviates more air to the radiator.
All of the components contribute to 7.7kg of downforce and at a speed of 241kmph. Â
But the recent changes to the F3 RR aren’t just about its bling. Updates by MV Agusta includes the 798cc inline triple for 2021.
This engine now consists of a new crank and conrod bearings, new fuel injectors, and a new clutch basket. The bike can now develop a top speed of 149PS at 13,200rpm and 88Nm at 10,100rpm. Â
If that doesn’t excite you, you must know that MV Agusta has a race kit on offer that comprises an Akrapovic race exhaust, CNC components, and a race-spec ECU.
The components have 8kg from the stock trim while pushing the redline up by 250rpm and, in turn, belting out an outstanding 157PS. Â
That performance with grace is the new electronics package, with an exclusive IMU developed by e-Novia that adds traction and wheelie control, along with the Continental-sourced MK100 cornering ABS.
The bike has now also been equipped with a new bi-directional quick shifter. Finally, there’s a new 5.5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and even turn-by-turn navigation. Â
The frame made of the 2022 F3 RR has been updated too with steel trellis. With the new frame plates, the chassis claims to have better torsional and lateral rigidity.
Even the wheels are now lighter by seven per cent, decreasing their moment on inertia by 10 per cent, resulting in better braking and acceleration. Â
The top-of-the-line F3 comes equipped with a fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi fork offering 125mm travel and Sachs mono-shock with 130mm travel.
Braking is handled by Brembo monoblocs up front clamped onto 320mm discs, while a single 220mm disc paired with a 2-piston calliper takes up the duties at the rear. Â
The 2022 MV Agusta F3 RR costs $25,270 or approximately Rs 18.2 lakh (excluding Indian taxes and charges&duties).
With this bike, MV Agusta has stepped up its game, and as much as we’d love to see this bike in India, it is not likely to happen anytime soon since the brand is still looking for a partner in India after the fallout of Motoroyale. Â

According to users review: Over the years, MV has grown a reputation for snatchy fuelling. Problems with their fuel injection were a little clunky, but then the significant improvement in 2014 Brutale left over the previous models, and now the Italians have gone one step ahead. Â
Low down, the fuelling is outstanding, textbook. MV had a tough job on their hands, making 138bhp usable and easy-to-use, but this kind of management with these specifications is jaw-dropping. Â
If it’s a bit aggressive, you can change the throttle delivery via the four different engine modes. There’s a slight ‘hunt’ at the constant throttle, but it’s not noticeable and annoying.Â
