A fifteen-year-old girl belonging from Rajasthan was taken to Agra and was sold for rs60, 000. The case has been registered, and two accuse have been arrested. The girl was the resident of Delhi’s Haidar Pur.
New Delhi: The Delhi police have rescued a 15-year-old girl belonging to Rajasthan who was later taken to Agra and was sold for RS60, 000.
As of now, two accuse have been arrested related to this case. The girl was rescued from the home of Gopal Lal, a resident of Rajasthan’s Sikar;
she was kept in his residence because Gopal Lal bought that minor girl for 60,000 and wanted that minor girl to get married off to his brother-in-law.
The name of his brother-in-law is Daanvir, who is also a resident of Sikar. The case got highlighted because it got registered at the Shalimar Bagh police station.
The case was very critical, and the complaint went on to say that the minor girl was a resident of Delhi’s Haridwar Pur, and she has been missing since the 16th of September.
After this, a dedicated team of Anti-Human Trafficking was conducted for this case, and with the close supervision of ACP SK Gulia, the team went on to search.
The Investigation of the Case:
The team, along with ACP, went on to ask questions to the girl’s relatives and friends. Furthermore, they went on to ask questions and conducted an investigation even in the neighborhood to find out valid information.
Upon asking several questions, it was found out that the girl was in regular contact with a local boy, who was a resident of Haiderpur, and his name is Neeraj Sonkar.
The police even discovered that the girl was being taken to get married. On the other hand, Neeraj Sonkar and Gopal Lal have been arrested related to this case, and Daanvir has still been absconding.
Furthermore, after the investigation, the Joint Commissioner belongs to the Crime Branch of Delhi police said that” in the inquiry, it was found that Neeraj Sonkar, the main accused,
had kidnapped the minor girl with the help of Muskan, resident of Delhi’s Rohini Sector 2, and Sheetal, a resident of Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
The police even said that further investigation is still going on to trace down the second accused, who is connected with the case.
A cop who was a part of this investigation said that “when I entered the room, she hugged me and started crying, she said that she was beaten up by men.
She even had several injuries”. During the investigation, the cops were accompanied by the girl’s brother, and they at first visited Agra and then moved on to Sikar.
The house where the girl was kept was in a remote area which didn’t have any transport facilities surrounding it.
The transport facility was 5-10 KMS away from the site where the girl was kept. With this situation, the cops left their vehicle 1.5 KMS away and went on foot towards Lal’s house and got a glimpse of him outside the house.
They were looking into the situation the police said that this was a forced marriage. The police said that the girl was beaten up brutally beaten up with sticks and was even sexually abused.
Whenever she used to ask them for a phone to contact her family, they used to tell her that they had purchased her, said the police.
The girl was exchanged for RS 60,000, and within that, Rupees Thirty thousand were given to Neeraj, and another half was taken by Sheetal, the money was rescued from their belongings.
