The Bollywood Star Aamir Khan has stepped down from his upcoming project, Champions. The actor also announced his decision to go on a hiatus from acting.
Aamir Khan’s fans are filled with mixed feelings as the Laal Singh Chaddha actor revealed that he will be taking a break from acting. Opting out from his most awaited movie Champions, Aamir did confirm that he will still be involved by being on the movie’s board of producers. The actor, although was earlier elated to star in the movie, ultimately decided to make his exit in order to spend some much-needed quality time with his family.
Aamir Khan Dishes On ‘Champions’
The Bollywood Star was excited as he recently shared an update regarding his upcoming film Champions. The actor was all praises for the movie as he further expressed his views and conception as the producer of the movie. While speaking about the movie Aamir gave accolades for the movie’s wonderful script and its beautiful story and labeled it as a heartwarming and lovely film. He further added that he will be producing the movie Champions because he believes in the film and its amazing storyline. He did disclose that he won’t be featuring in the highly anticipated Champions.
“When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that and nothing else happens in my life. Which is why I decided to take a break. I want to be with my family. With my mom, with my kids”. He explained. The actor feels that he has been working for 35 years and is fully focused on films only and it is unfair to the people who are close to him and care for him.
What’s Ahead For Aamir Khan?
The Actor plans to keep Acting at Bay for a year and a half, He shares. For a while, he is very much keen on being active as a producer. Aamir Khan was last seen in Advait Chandan’s directorial Laal Singh Chaddha, while the film failed to make a mark at the box office. The movie was an official remake of the 1994 American classic Forest Gump. Although we appreciate his decision on taking a break from acting, we are equally excited in catching small glimpses of him as he will be featured in a cameo role in Kajol’s Salam Venky.
