Tamil Nadu Actor Chiyan Vikram had been admitted to the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai after suffering a heart attack recently.
Reports on Vikram’s Health Conditions
As stated in reports released by the media, Tamil Actor Chiyan Vikram was immediately rushed to the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai after suffering a cardiac arrest.
He had complained about feeling uneasy and uncomfortable which led to him being hospitalized with immediate treatment.
The actor has currently undergone angioplasty on July 7th.
Unfortunately, Vikram, who was scheduled to attend the teaser launch for Ponniyin Selvan which is directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam, will have to miss the event because of his health.
The Hospital is yet to share updates on his health condition. Reports claim that the Ponniyin Selvan actor is stable and will most likely be discharged today.
However, he is expected to be a part of the audio launch for his upcoming Cobra on 11th July.
Actor Vikram and His Upcoming Box Offices
Vikram remains one of the most popular actors in the Tamil Film Industry.
He was last seen in Kartik Subbaraj’s directorial Mahaan which was released on the OTT Giant, Amazon Prime where he starred opposite his son, Dhruv Vikram.
He awaits the release of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan which also stars Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi on 30th September.
He will be seen playing crown prince and Northern Troop commander, Aditya Karikalan in the film that is based on Rajaraja Chola’s reign. Previously he worked with the directorial genius on Ravaan.
The release of Vikram’s Cobra is also on the charts where he stars with actors like former cricketer Irfan Pathan and Mirnalini Ravi.
He is also expected to start in Pa Ranjith’s untitled film which hasn’t started shooting yet.
