Adam Driver and Nathalie Emmanuel have been roped in to join the cast of Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming movie ‘Megalopolis’. The Eminent director has been working on this project for nearly twenty years since the 1980s but was subjected to several obstacles. It is now that he is extensively moving forward with this project.
The veteran film director who is famously known for his movies such as The Godfather Trilogy, The Apocalypse Now, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and many more, is producing a movie at a budget of USD 100 million and will also write and direct the movie.
The stellar movie cast includes Laurence Fishburne, Forest Whitaker, and Jon Voight.
The logline for the film reads: “The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius, and conflicted love.”
There was also a rumor circulating around Hollywood that Oscar Isaac has been all set to appear in this movie but no further information was provided.
Lawrence Fishburne has previously worked in Coppola’s Apocalypse Now early in his acting life and thus marks his return to Coppola’s film.
Adam Driver was last seen in two Ridley Scott-directed movies, The Last Duel and House of Gucci. He will next be seen working in the movies White noise, a movie adaptation of Don DeLillo’s book of the same name, and a sci-fi thriller 65 by Sony.
Nathalie Emmanuel was previously seen in The Game of Thrones and Fast & Furious and will soon be seen working in the movie The Bride.
