The IT ministry has issued an official statement regarding the BGMI; however, the app has been discarded from both the Google Play store and Apple’s App Store without any confirmation.
Even if someone had installed the game on their smartphone, they will still be allowed to play the game till the time it’s officially announced by the IT ministry.
Reasons: BGMI banned in India
The report was been presented by IANS by quoting source claims that the BGMI gaming app has been banned under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
The Technology Act is used to keep under control the access to any content which will work against the interest of our country’s sovereignty and integrity, security of the state, friendly relations with foreign states, and order.
The same Act was applied when PUBG was officially banned in September 2020.

Complaint Filed To Ban BGMI Under Section 69A
The PRAHAR, known as a non-profit organization (NGO) working for socio-economic development had filed a complaint to ban BGMI under the same section 69A of the Information Technology Act which was also used to ban PUBG in India.
Stating Facts
The organization had raised the issue that Krafton is a front company of China’s leading internet company Holdings Tencent and further added that Tencent is the second-largest shareholder of Krafton with 15.5% stocks.
This confirms that BGMI and PUBG are the same, making it no different from PUBG with Tencent controlling BGMI from the background.

Conclusions
In my opinion, it’s quite hard for full-fledged gamers to switch their entertainment source by watching animes. I know they will replace their entertainment by playing other games but still I like to suggest animes because I believe that there is a replacement for every source of entertainment in life except animes.
I think animes aren’t replaceable by any means and I believe they may satisfy your need for a good source of amusement.
