Indigram Labs recently provided seed funding to AgriVijay through the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS). Since its inception 1.5 years ago, the agritech company has been making farmers and rural communities in Maharashtra and Rajasthan energy-independent.Â
AgriVijay has received various honours, recognitions, and praises for its work focused on improving farmers’ savings and income by equipping farmers for tomorrow with renewable energy, allowing them to become energy-independent while also helping to mitigate climate change.
Under the direction of Vimal Panjwani and Shobha Chanchlani, AgriVijay was created in June 2020 during the COVID outbreak. AgriVijay is a FICCI Awardee for Startup Awards 2021 – ‘Top Agri Innovator in COVID Times’, as well as a National Awardee of the Indian Achievers Award for 2020 by the Indian Achievers Forum.
The company has a long list of accomplishments, including being named one of the Top 100 Startups in the 6th Edition of Lemon Ideas’ South Asia Innopreneurs International Startup Contest, being listed as an Innovator for ‘Climate Change Solver’ by WWF India Climate Solver hub, AGNii & Invest India on their web portals, being nominated at SAARC Global Startup Awards 2021, and winning the GoGlobal Awards 2021 as Cleantech Frontrunner.
AgriVijay has carved out a space for itself among the top 15 businesses selected from 200 applicants for the AIM-UNCDF Agritech Challenge 2021 COHORT – Early-Stage Innovators. With their unique value proposition of Renewable Energy products and services for Farmers and Rural households, AgriVijay has established a firm foothold in the agri-tech startup ecosystem.
