The following is a list of all the bids and their amounts to buy two new franchises for the next IPL 2022, with ten teams.
The Indian Premier League will have two new franchises in the 2022 season, and we now know which cities will have a club to root for. The cities of Ahmedabad and Lucknow were chosen following a competitive bidding procedure held in Dubai on October 25, 2021.

Two new teams and their franchises were introduced on Monday following bidding at the Taj Hotel in Dubai. Ahmedabad and Lucknow will be the two new members of the Indian Premier League (IPL) family, according to the BCCI in a news conference.
The RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG) (Lucknow) and CVC Capital Partners (Ahmedabad) have also been named as new owners of the league. The RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group once owned the now-defunct Rising Pune Super giants.

Meanwhile, Harsh Goenka, head of the RPG Group conglomerate, revealed how the IPL bidding process worked. Harsh Goenka published a snippet of the IPL bids on his official Twitter account, showing that Irelia Company Pte Ltd, controlled by CVC Capital Partners, and Sanjiv Goenka’s RPSG Ventures were the proud owners of the Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises, respectively.
While CVC Capital Partners paid INR 5,625 crores to acquire Ahmedabad, RPSG Ventures paid INR 7,090 crores to acquire the Lucknow-based franchise. With 5.1 billion rupees, Adani Group came in third.
Essential Corporation was auctioned for Rs 4,140 crore, Corporal Global was auctioned for Rs 4,204 crore, Championship Cricket was auctioned for Rs 4,128 crore, Hindustan Media was auctioned for Rs 4,275 crore, and Torrent Sports was auctioned for Rs 4,653 crore. For the indoor equipment, the RPSG Group has set aside Rs 4.790 million.
The Adani Group’s Adani SportsLine Private Limited (INR 5,100 crores for Ahmedabad and Lucknow) is Kotak-owned Amrit Lila Enterprises Pvt. Ltd (INR 4,513 crores for Ahmedabad and 4,512 crores for Lucknow) and a few other organizations had expressed interest in buying the two new IPL franchises.
The new Narendra Modi Stadium, which has a world-leading seating capacity of 132,000 people, will host the Ahmedabad team.
According to ESPN Cricinfo, 22 firms purchased the tender papers, but only nine attended the closed-door bidding process in Dubai earlier in the day.
A member of the Glazer family, who owns Premier League heavyweights Manchester United, was among the bidders, according to a top BCCI official.
In actuality, the RPSG enterprises ltd. were the highest bidders, submitting INR 7090 crores for both Ahmedabad and Lucknow. They also made a bid for Indore worth INR 4790 crores. Irelia Company Pte Ltd, bidding on behalf of CVC Capital, offered INR 5625 crores for Ahmedabad and INR 5166 crores for Lucknow. They were eventually able to secure the Ahmedabad team.
