CPM govt. Suspends the Ajanta Biswas because of the article writing issue. Govt. was not happy with her article.
Is it necessary to take permission from the govt. to write something about them? She wrote about the good side of govt but that article becomes worse.
Who is Ajanta Biswas?Â
Ajanta is a teacher at Rabindra Bharati University and she is a Member of CPM the wing for teacher her father was a Street Journal secretary in CPM.
She is the writer as well. Her writing skills are amazing. But nowadays one controversial news comes along with that her the article which is not satisfied by the CPI(M) government.
Her article name was BONGO RAGNITITE NARI SHAKTI. This article was published on Wednesday.
In this article she discussed the women’s contribution to the politics of West Bengal from the pre-independence era. In this article, she started with the freedom fighter Basanti Devi and concluded with TMC chairperson Mamta Banerjee.
Punishment by govtÂ
This article creates lots of mess because govt wants that she should, take permission first. Govt was not satisfied with this article.Â
This article appeared in the Trinamool congress mouthpiece Jago Bangla. After the publication of this article different people of the committee and different teachers opposed the article. Demand for the suspension for 3 months.Â
One notice was sent to her for the reason why she wrote this article. Then, she replied in her show-cause notice that she just discussed the historical perspective and politics of women leaders in India. She didn’t have any other intention to write something else.Â
When CPI(M) state committee at its Alimuddin Street headquarter after received a report containing Ajanta rely on the Calcutta District Committee.
They decided that she suspends for 6 months. Every aspect is decided by the govt because the content of the article was not good.Â
Rights of personÂ
If everything is decided by the government so the country will become Democratic or not. It is shown that their rights are curtailed by the CPI(M) govt.
The right to freedom is a fundamental right but with some reasonable restrictions as well. But she told about the women perspective so created some problems in that according to the govt. This properly shows that it is like a dictatorship.Â
