Alia-love Ranbir’s story is unmistakably Bollywood. Alia first saw him on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black when she was 11 years old. He was only 23 years old at the time and was employed as an assistant director while she was in town for an audition. She developed feelings for him. Two years later, in Saawariya, Bhansali cast him as the hero. She was still in school when she fell in love with him from the first frame of the film, she would later confess. She made her Bollywood debut four years later with Student of The Year. She joked about wanting to marry him a year later on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan. He made an appearance in 2014 to promote her debut film, Highway. He was dating co-star Katrina Kaif at the time, who also happened to be her best friend. Although rumors of her dating her co-star circulated, she denied them. The couple’s pre-wedding ceremonies took place on Wednesday. At his Pali Hill residence Vastu, Ranbir hosted the Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies. Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirmed to the paparazzi on Wednesday evening that Alia and Ranbir will marry on April 14. Apart from the traditional Indian fare, a Times of India report states that a vegan burger stall has been set up at Vastu for Alia, who enjoys vegan burgers. Additionally, a sushi stall has been established for the groom Ranbir. They married at Ranbir’s Pali Hill home in Vastu. Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Akash Ambani are among the guests at the wedding. Riddhima posed for the paparazzi prior to leaving for Vastu, as did Brahmastra director and Alia-close Ranbir’s friend Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain, who is known to be very close to Neetu Kapoor, and even more Kapoors – Kunal Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor’s son, at his wedding.Â
