ALIA BHATT COMPLETES A DECADE IN THE INDUSTRY.
Alia Bhatt completes her 10-year journey in the film fraternity. From SOTY to GANGUBAI, she surely has come a long way. She started her career in the film Student of the year, directed by Karan Johar. The film also starred Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles. In such a short span she has proved through her acting ability and with her acting skills that she can do any role.
In her first film, she portrayed the role of a rich and glamorous girl Shanaya and in her next film Highway, she featured as a child abuse survivor where she develops feelings towards her kidnapper, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Not only this, but in 2022 she made her mark with a 200-crore box office collection. She also debuted in a South Indian film RRR which made a worldwide record and is also generating OSCAR reviews.
But her journey was not easy as it sounds when she first made her appearance in the famous controversial show ‘KOFFEE WITH KARAN” she was badly trolled for not knowing the President of India. She was also given the title of NEPO KID and her affairs were never hidden from the media.
HER INITIAL CAREER
Her career started with Karan Johar’s film SOTY, which completes 10 years today, Since then she has not looked back, having done a variant of films like Udta Punjab where she projects herself as a Bihar migrant who wants to change her life and wants to open the door of success.
And then she was given love by the audience in Gauri Shinde’s DEAR ZINDAGI, a story of a young woman who struggles with mental illness and also went on to star in films like Badrinath ki Dulhania, Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, Gully boy, 2 states and Raazi, in which she acts as a spy, who is caught up in between the love of her life and the loyalty of the country. The film was applauded by everyone and also gained and also succeeded in the box office collection.
Recently she experimented with herself in Sanjay Leela Bhansali Gangubai Kathiawadi which got screened at the Berlin International Film Festival and in the much-awaited Ayan Mukherji Brahmastra where she was paired with her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
She recently was seen in NETFLIX and Red chilies Productions’ DARLINGS which showcases domestic violence.
She is now ready to put her foot in the Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone’ where she will be seen working with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

She shared a post on Instagram, thanking her fans, the would-be mommy wrote “10 years today …and I am so so grateful .. EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I promise to be better – dream deeper – work harder !!!!! thank you for the magic. love love and only love.”
As soon as this post went out, people all over the globe congratulated her, and the B- town celebs also congratulated her, From Karan Johar to Kareena Kapoor, everyone went on to praise this young actress.
Ranveer Singh praised her work and wrote ” Lucky to have been a small part of this journey with you, more love, more life, more blessings”.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also dropped a comment “The Best there is”.
Many other actors also dropped a heart on her post.
Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor and is going to welcome her kids soon. She has received Filmfare awards and IIFA awards for her films and people are speculating that she might win a National film for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai.
