Alia Bhatt is having a great year. Right after tying the knot with her prince charming in an intimate wedding, the actress is nearing the end of her current schedule for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and is already planning her next project. Alia will be in the UK by mid-May, according to Pinkvilla, to begin filming for her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone. Alia is cast alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the Netflix original thriller.
“Right after wrapping up the schedule of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Alia will be off to the UK for a marathon schedule of the upcoming spy thriller. She would be shooting for this Tom Harper directorial from May till end of August. According to an insider close to the situation, the actress is looking forward to making her international debut. It’s an author-backed job, and the series is set to launch worldwide in 2024. Darlings, her direct-to-digital production debut, will also be released on Netflix soon.
Alia’s Hollywood debut co-star Gal Gadot congratulated Alia on her wedding by posting, “Congratulations (sic)” with a red heart emoji on her Mehandi photographs.
