Mukesh Ambani hosts an engagement party for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at his house, in Antilia, Mumbai.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who had been childhood sweethearts, got engaged on Thursday during a “roka” ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai home, Antilia, hosted their after-party. The engagement party featured several Bollywood celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, just to name a few.
Bollywood Celebrities that attended the Wedding
Security personnel escorted Shah Rukh Khan. He was also accompanied by Pooja Dadlani, his manager, who made sure he avoided the cameras. Pooja got out of the car and entered the venue alone with Shah Rukh Khan.
After becoming parents, newlywed couples attended their first party. Aayan Mukerji, a friend, and filmmaker joined Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat at the celebration to wish the couple well. Alia wore a powder blue outfit, while Ranbir opted for all-black attire.
Janhvi Kapoor was spotted at the engagement party as well, appearing in a stunning pink saree with an embellished blouse. Her hair was still curled loosely. She was seen at the celebration with her friend Orhan Awatramani, who was also dressed in a pink kurta pajama.
Ranveer Singh was seen entering the party alone, without his wife Deepika Padukone. The actor was styled in an all-black tee and pants, wearing a blue velvet blazer and a black Barret. He had also worn a chain around his neck and brown shoes to complete his attire.
Salman Khan was spotted in a formal all-black ensemble. There was Sagarika Ghosh with her former cricketer husband Zaheer Khan, as well as Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa Malhotra. She was seen with her hubby wearing a kurta pajama and a beige sharara.
The Engaged Couples
At the airport, Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani were spotted. From the moment they landed till they arrived at their South Mumbai house, they were greeted with a floral shower. On the way home, they took in a firework display that their family had planned close to the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
The couples were reportedly best friends in high school. The spouses frequently appear together, notably at numerous Ambani events. Additionally, Radhika was spotted at Prithvi Akash Ambani’s grand first birthday celebration, Akash and Shloka’s baby.
The couple is claimed to have met when they were young, and stories of the two of them getting engaged began to circulate in 2019. However, throughout that period, no one in their family was able to confirm the information. Only recently did Orhan Awatarami, Radhika’s closest friend, upload a photo of the two of them with a ring emoji to officially announce their relationship.
