After an FIR was registered against MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin along with Priyank Kharge under section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts to religious feelings) and section 153A (promoting of enmity between different religious groups).

Controversy is again generated, by another DMK leader A Raja who compared Sanatan dharma with HIV and Leprosy.
This comparison was made in a protest meeting organized by Dravidar Kazhagam in the capital of Tamil Nadu Cheenai over Vishwakarma Yojana on Wednesday reported the TOI.
What were A Raja’s Words?
Quoted by Times of India, leader of the DMK A Raja said that Udhyanidhi was actually being gentle when he announced that there is a need to remove sanatan dharma like Malaria, Dengue, and corona.
He further said there is no stigma attached socially with regard to Dengue and Malaria, nor a disgust or a social disgrace connected with these diseases.
Nowadays, what was looked at with disgust was leprosy and HIV in current times….according to us, it should be looked at as a disease with a social disgrace like both leprosy and HIV.

A Raja also took a dig towards the prime minister over his comments in support of Sanatan Dharma.
A Raja Said “If he had properly followed Sanatan Dharm, he wouldn’t be going abroad as a good Hindu doesn’t cross seas.
He again challenged both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah over the debate on Sanatan Dharma and Caste System.
His words were “My leader M.K. Stalin’s permission, come for the debate. Collect one crore people in Delhi and also bring Shankaracharya. Come with the debate with everything in your arsenal….Bow, Arrows, and Sickles.

Founder of VCK Thol Thiruvalaman, President of the Congress party KS Alagiri, Chief of MDMK Vaiko along with CPM and CPI leaders were also there in the protest meeting.
Udhayanidhi Stalin’s words

Early this month, Udhayanidhi Stalin said that Sanatana Dharma is opposed to equality and social justice and further said such a system shouldn’t just be opposed, it should be destroyed.
He also equated sanatan dharma with Malaria, Dengue and coronavirus.
His shocking statement has drawn condemnation from the political circle, especially BJP members.
IT in charge of BJP Amit Malviya took to Twitter and accused MK Stalin’s son of encouraging the genocide of 80% of India’s population who are the adherents of Sanatan Dharma.
In response, Udhayanidhi has expressed his denial of the genocide claim.
And also said that the word “Sanatan” is derived from the Sanskrit language.
Aftermath of Udhayanidhi’s statement
According to ANI’s report, the sports minister of Tamil Nadu published a letter with regard to his statements on Sanatan Dharma.
He accused the leaders of the BJP of changing the context of his speech as calling for genocide.
And also alleged they are using his speech to shield themselves.
He further accused the BJP of doing nothing for the last 9 years with a view on governance.
He also alleged that Sanatan dharma divides people on the basis of caste.
