Actor Anshuman Jha on Wednesday said he is set to get married to his fiancé Sierra Winters in the US in the month of October. Anshuman, best known for his role in Dibakar Banerjee’s film Love Sex Aur Dhoka, shared the news in a media statement.
Jha is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films and theatre. He had been rated as one of the “Top Ten Bollywood Actors of 2010” by Rediff.
After getting engaged in 2020 & waiting for the Pandemic to pass, Anshuman & Sierra will tie the knot in the month of October this year. While Sierra Winters shifted to India last year itself, the couple has been waiting for VISA restrictions to ease off so that the families of both of them can be present at the ceremonies.
The actor said the pair will exchange vows in twin ceremonies, one in the US in October, followed by traditional Hindu nuptials in March 2024. He said, “I feel like she is my mom’s blessing to me. We are excited to have our first ceremony in America, followed by the Indian leg. Sierra always wanted to have an Indian ceremony & Ma would have wanted that too. It will be a private affair at both the places because that’s what we both believe in.”
The couple got engaged in 2020. Anshuman also told the media that getting married to his girlfriend is one of his goals for 2022. He said, “Sierra and I get married in 2022. We have waited for the pandemic to go away and this winter it will be a good time to get married.”
Talking about his future projects, Anshuman will begin shooting in September for Harish Vyas’ film Hari-Om. The upcoming movie marks their third collaboration following the films like Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele.
The actor is also looking forward to the release of Lakadbaggha, which is an action film and also his directorial debut Lord Curzon Ki Haveli, which also stars Arjun Mathur, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Rasika Dugal.
