Anti-Islamic remarks, Protests across the country

The whole country was shocked by the BJP’s anti-Islam remarks.  After the Friday prayers, Muslim crowds demonstrated in different parts of the country. 

Thousands of protesters gathered outside the Jama Masjid in Delhi demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal, who were suspended from the BJP. 

The same picture can be seen in different parts of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Firozabad, Shaharanpur, Moradabad, Ranchi and Kashmir. 

The Delhi Police kept a close watch on the situation so that law and order could not get out of hand. 

Protesters were evacuated from the area.  According to police reports, the protesters are members of the MIM (MIM) group.  Police have identified the persons behind the protests. 

Shahi Imam Ahmed Bukhari of the Jama Masjid said, “We do not know the protesters.”  No such program was organized by the mosque committee. 

They are the people of Mim.  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also directed the police to increase surveillance in various sensitive areas of the state. 

Protesters were seen throwing stones at the attic of Prayagraj. 

Protests in different parts of Ranchi turned violent.  The car was vandalized.  There have been incidents like throwing stones. 

Section 144 has been issued in different parts of Ranchi to bring the situation under control.  On the other hand, various parts of Kashmir were shut down for fear of deteriorating law and order.
