Anurag Kashyap is gearing up for the release of his latest movie, Dobaaraa, slated to open in theatres on August 19.He added that the international fraternity has discovered a new filmmaker in Rajamouli.
“India might have a nomination in the final 5 if RRR is the film they pick. I am speaking from what people have been reaching out to me and talking about in the West. They have discovered a new filmmaker called Rajamouli with RRR. How Everything Everywhere All At Once worked for me, RRR has worked for them. And they find it better than any other Marvel movie.
Nonetheless, Anurag also hoped that ‘The Kashmir Flies’ should not be sent to the Oscars. ‘The Kashmir Files’ was also released in 2022 and was a commercial hit. However, the movie has been criticized for being a propaganda movie.
