After Aryan Khan‘s arrest again, the heated debate against Bollywood and Drug has started. On October 2, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a luxury cruise ship on suspicion of a rave party, where they caught Aryan Khan and seven others, including two girls. On October 3, NCB detained all eight and were shortly presented before the Magistrate.
He was booked under section 8C (manufacture, possess, sell, produce or purchase of drugs), 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
On October 4, sources from NCB said Aryan Khan was consuming for the past four years. He also finished Drugs during his Dubai and United Kingdom Stay.
Besides Aryan Khan, others arrested were Arbaz Merchant, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Vikrant Chhokar and Munmun Dhamecha.
Aryan Khan’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, objected to the NCB’s remand extension request, claiming that his client had no ties to the other accused.
The 23-year-old was kept in the Arthur Road Jail. On Friday, October 8, the court rejected his bail plea, acknowledging it was ‘not maintainable’.

NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik claimed on Saturday that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which claimed to have seized drugs onboard a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai last week, detained 11 people but released three of them a few hours later, including the brother-in-law of BJP leader Mohit Bharatiya.
Bharatiya said he would file a defamation suit against Malik, asking for Rs 100 crore in damages.
