Israeli forces invaded the Jenin camp while being supported by the unusual deployment of helicopter gunships, inflicting at least 91 injuries.
Palestinian militants targeted Israeli troop carriers with improvised explosive devices
After an extensive Israeli military invasion into the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank that resulted in five Palestinian deaths and at least 91 injuries, mourners lay their loved ones to rest hours later.
As Israeli forces assaulted the camp early on Monday, using live bullets, stun grenades and poisonous gas, the bloodiest fighting in years broke out, according to the Wafa news agency. Following the subsequent hours-long conflict, combat helicopters were utilised for the first time in decades.
There have now been five Palestinians killed during the current Israeli attack on Jenin.
Escalation in Israel
What the Israelis failed to foresee was a Palestinian ambush that left seven Israeli occupation troops injured and destroyed military vehicles.
The Palestinian Resistance, on the other hand, asserted in a statement that the total is greater and that Israel is concealing its deaths due to political considerations.

Bombardment
The Second Intifada 20 years ago, Israeli fighter planes targeted sites in the Occupied West Bank for the first time, according to Israeli media and Palestinian eyewitnesses.
Additionally, it has been claimed that at least one Israeli military Apache helicopter bombed sites in the Jabriyat district of the Jenin camp.
In referring to Palestinian fighters who engage in resistance activities against the Israeli military or armed settlers, the Israeli army stated that the goal of the military operation in Jenin was to apprehend wanted Palestinians.
Israeli soldiers were also “lightly and moderately wounded,” according to the official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, when an armoured vehicle transporting them exploded during the evacuation from a position in Jenin.
The Al-Quds Brigades’ Jenin Brigade, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, said that its fighters engaged Israeli special forces in combat after they were found in the Jabriya neighborhood of the Jenin refugee camp. It claimed to have set high-explosive explosives off for the first time.
Red Crescent Proclamation
The Israeli occupation forces, on the other hand, are preventing ambulances from arriving in Jenin to rescue the injured, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent, which also noted that an Israeli military vehicle purposely assaulted a Palestinian ambulance to stop it from arriving.
Arrests
All of this occurred shortly after the Israeli occupation forces detained 5 Palestinians during a series of military operations that targeted various West Bank locations.
Three people from the town of Husan in the Bethlehem area were detained by the occupying army’s soldiers, together with a man from Huwwara, south of Nablus, and a kid from Araba, south of Jenin.
