According to the Elysee Palace, the notion of a summit suggested by France President Emmanuel Macron to address security and strategic stability in Europe has been agreed upon by US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin.  Macron held telephone talks with Putin twice during the day and also spoke with Biden about the situation in Ukraine.
