Observing the plea of Irfan in Allahabad High Court, the bench rejected his plea to play Azan on loudspeakers. The bench settled the case by declaring that playing Azan on loudspeakers in Mosques won’t be considered a fundamental right. On Friday, film-maker Nandi Chinni Kumar’s plea for the release of Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund on the OTT platform was ordered to maintain status quo by the Telangana HC.
