India denies criticism levelled by a State Department study on religious freedom

India responded to criticism in a US State Department report on religious freedom on Friday, saying it’s sad that “vote bank politics” is being used in international relations. According to Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s annual report on worldwide religious freedom, attacks against members of minority communities, including deaths, assaults, and intimidation.They occurred in India throughout 2021. Sidhu Moosewala`s family meets with Amit Shah, seeks CBI investigation

On Saturday June 4 2022, Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, and mother, Charan Kaur, visited Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Chandigarh Technical Airport on Saturday and allegedly requested a CBI investigation into their son’s death. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also met  Moosewala’s  family members at his native town of Moosa in Punjab’s Mansa district.
