800 Kg Ganja Worth 2 Crore Seized in Hyderabad

On May 8, 2022, Hyderabad Police in Telangana recovered 800 kg ganja worth Rs 2 crore and detained two people. Ganja was being transported through Telangana from Andhra Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh. Based on a tip-off, investigators from Shamshabad Zone’s Special Operations Team (SOT) and Shamshabad Police apprehended two drug dealers and seized 800 kg of ganja being transported by a truck. Khushi Mohammed, the truck driver, and Sonu Singh, the cleaner, are the two people who have been arrested.
