Thane: At 15 years old, a boy allegedly decides to end his life by jumping from a building in Vartak Nagar, Thane. The concrete reason remains unknown, but the incident took place a week after the SSC Maharashtra board results were announced in the first week of June. Thane police have filed a case of “accidental death” and further investigation is in progress. Bandra: Akash Mukherjee, a 22-year-old from Kalyan, has been arrested and charged with ‘attempt to murder’, for trying to kill his girlfriend of 13 months, after she refused to have sexual relations with him. Lubna Sukte, the victim, suffered injuries on her eyes, nose, and head after the accused banged her head on the rocks. Manipur: On Tuesday night, 3 abandoned houses were torched, once again sparking violence and chaos in Manipur. An MLA’s house was vandalised. Several reasons have led to this chaos.
