I searched for it and realized that as soon as I started playing it, I couldn’t help but start singing. It just flowed naturally. So I immediately went to the studio with my friend… I told him, ‘Hey, I think I have a new anthem.’
The song’s lyrics revolve around a woman whom Bad Bunny can’t forget. Lines such as “Me gusta tu flow / Tranquility t siempre roba’ el show” (“I like your flow / Calm and always stealing the show”) are believed by fans to be direct references to Kendall Jenner, the reality TV personality.
The music video for “Where She Goes” was shot in the desert and features a woman wearing angel wings and white underwear. This imagery, along with scenes of a scantily dressed angel walking amidst scorching heat while scorpions crawl over the sand, is perceived as a nod to Kendall Jenner’s past work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Fans drew connections between the video and Jenner’s Halloween photoshoot from 2018, where she and her sisters dressed up as angels but nobody can deny that Kendall Jenner will always be Victoria’s Secret Angel. Additionally, horses make an appearance in the video, which holds significance as horses are known to be Jenner’s favorite animals. Interestingly, the couple was also spotted on a horseback riding date back in March.
Continuing their hunt for Easter eggs, fans discovered another intriguing reference in the music video. One scene features a tequila reference, which holds significance due to Kendall Jenner’s ownership of the tequila brand 818. A humorous tweet suggested that they were possibly drinking tequila at the party depicted in the video, and it playfully hinted at Kris Jenner, Kendall’s mother, taking advantage of the opportunity to promote her daughter’s brand. Additionally, scorpions appearing in the video were seen as a nod to Kendall’s zodiac sign, Scorpio.
It’s important to note that despite the speculation and the various hints, neither Kendall Jenner nor Bad Bunny have confirmed their relationship. The song coincided with Bad Bunny’s most recent public appearance alongside Kendall Jenner at an NBA playoffs game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. Given Kendall’s affinity for horses and her Scorpio zodiac sign, it seems fitting that these symbols would find their way into the “Where She Goes” music video, capturing fans’ attention and fueling further speculation.
