In a startling development, a 36-year-old man employed as a manager at Amazon was discovered shot dead in the Bhajanpura locality of northeast New Delhi.
In a tragic incident, Harpreet Gill, the victim, was reportedly gunned down by a group of five individuals while he was riding his bike with a companion.
According to authorities, a recent incident unfolded on Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m. in the Bhajanpura area of Subhash Vihar. Harpreet and his companion were riding a motorcycle at the time, as confirmed by the police. During their journey, the individuals were intercepted by the assailants.

In a recent development, the identity of the deceased individual has been confirmed as Harpreet Gill. In a remarkable career achievement, Harpreet, a seasoned professional at the prestigious e-commerce giant Amazon, held the esteemed position of senior manager at the age of 36.
Shot Dead by 5 Men
Delhi Police stated, “ Harpreet(deceased) and his friend, identified as Govind, were travelling on their motorbike near Gali No. 8 when suddenly five people intercepted them. The assailants opened fire on both of them and after that, they fled away instantaneously.”
Police investigation is going on at full speed in order to identify the assailants. The police are investigating the real motive behind the open firing. The police immediately registered the murder case and the investigation is in progress.
Harpreet Shot Dead: Heartless Crime Has Been Committed
“ We were informed that Harpreet was shot in the head. We immediately rushed him to the JPC hospital but he was declared dead,” informed the maternal uncle of the deceased.
“The son of my uncle who was travelling with Harpreet was also shot in the head, but he is thankfully fine. We do not know who they were and why did they this,” he added.
As per the hospital’s report, Harpreet died of a direct gunshot injury to the head. The bullet seems to have entered on the right side behind the ear while exiting from the other side.
Govind also Shot Dead; Is Serious
In a recent development, Harpreet was spotted making his way through Bhajanpura accompanied by his cousin Govind Singh. Notably, Govind Singh is the proud owner of the popular eatery ‘Hungry Momos’ located in the vicinity.
In a shocking turn of events, Govind miraculously survived a gunshot wound to the head. Due to the severity of the head injury, the individual has been directed to seek medical attention at LNJP Hospital.
Amazon Store Manager Shot Dead; Suspected Gang on the run
A heinous crime is believed to have been committed by a gang hailing from the local area. According to Joy Tirkey, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in North East Delhi, a suspected gang is currently operating in the area.
In a recent statement, the individual emphasized that a suspected gang has been continuously on the move, armed with weapons, as evidenced by their posts on the popular social media platform, Instagram. According to the police, the alleged leader of the suspected gang, 19-year-old Samir, has a troubling history with three registered cases against him, even when he was a minor. These cases include a serious charge of murder.
