About Bhool Bhulaiyaa Franchise
Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a 2007 Indian Hindi language psychological horror film which is an official remake of the superhit Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Shiney Ahuja, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, and Vikram Gokhale, it became the 6th highest grossing film of the year 2007 and was a blockbuster.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) is a Hindi-language horror-comedy film directed by Aneez Bazmi and starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu it went on to become a super-hit in 2022.
Both films were produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series.
Bhushan Kumar exclusive interview
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla producer Bhushan Kumar stated saying “We are definitely about to make Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 the film is all set to go on the floor in 2024”.
He stated, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will star Kartik Aaryan, and we are in the process of figuring out the gap which is needed between both part 2 and part 3 respectively, the expectations are touching sky high and we are now evaluating how to take the franchise ahead as Bhool Bhulaiyaa as a franchise is established now and there will be anticipation around it agreeing by the stakeholders about the idea of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 that needs to be big and unique ”.
The producer further stated, “Drishyam 2 was a unique idea and in a similar way we are looking out for a unique idea for Bhool Bhoolaiyaa 3 and once we get it, we will proceed further”.
Bhushan further shared that “the third part of the franchise will go on floors in the second half of 2024 and the target to release the film is by 2025 and start it by the second half of 2024 we have got a good span of one and half year to crack the subject”.
Bhushan further revealed about Aashiqui 3 and Metro Inn Dino stating “Before the film Bhool Bhulaiya 3 we are teaming up with actor Kartik Aaryan on the third installment of the superhit musical franchise Aashiqui, Aashiqui 3 is all set to go on floors by the end of 2024 and Anurag Basu (Dada) will complete the film Metro- Inn Dino which is a squeal to the film Life in a Metro (2007) by the end of February 2024 and will continue working for Aashiqui 3”. Bhushan Promises that Aashiqui 3 will be a very big musical.

Bhushan Kumar has impressive lineups in 2024 starting with his first entertainer Shehzada directed by Rohit Dhawan and starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, the film is all set to release on 10th February 2024 and the trailer will be out on 12th January 2024.
Bhushan confidently stated about Shehzada “Kartik Aaryan has done very good work and it will mark his reunion with his super hit pairing with Kriti Sanon and both have done a good job, I think Shehzada will pick up a good start in 2024”,
He lastly added, “Shehzada is a family entertainment film with a lot of action and music which is suitable for all age groups and I am excited about the music of Shehzada”.
Kartik is all set with his lineup Satyaprem ki Katha (2024), Shehzada (2024) Aashiqui 3 (2024), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (tentative2025).
Bhushan Kumar and Kartik Aaryan have successfully worked and delivered the films Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Pati Patni Aur Who, and Bhool Bhulaiya 2.
They are all set to give a back-to-back treat to the audience with Shehzada, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Aashiqui 3 and fans are eagerly waiting for the release of these big films.
