The saffron party now hopes to divide Muslim voters, known as the core vote bank of many opposition parties. The BJP’s minority wing is stepping up its outreach program by handing out certificates to those who appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “vision and initiatives”. Modi Mitra’s testimonies are distributed to about 150 Muslims at the Center for Islamic Studies in Deoband. This January, BJP launched a new mission to reach out to the minorities to build a support base among them. To tackle the task of BJP’s minority scumbag.
BJP minority morcha to take the charge.
According to the mission launched by the BJP, its minority wing has identified 65 Lok Sabha constituencies in 10 states and union territories with more than 30% minority population. BJP minority morose leader explained the task
Jamal Siddiqui, president of the ethnic minorities morcha of BJP, said this:
“This is an attempt to reach out to minorities outside the BJP fold. We have reached out to various professionals – lawyers, accountants, media, professors, doctors and others – who may not want to belong to the BJP but appreciate Modiji’s administration and programmes.
How it works : party to choose one person for each of the selected constituencies.
These leaders selected 30 professionals or businessmen interested in Modi, regardless of their previous political leanings. Each of the 30 has been asked to take 25 people from their area to join the mission, which means at least 750 people in each constituency. Party leaders said that around 5,000 Modi Mitras will be made under this mission and they will not belong to the BJP. They only serve as their base. Siddiqui also noted that the exercise will culminate in an event where PM Modi will address all the Modi Mitras in Delhi.
BJP keeping an eyes on Pasmanda muslim community.
Minority Morcha launched the program after Modi’s message at a national leadership meeting in January to reach beyond Hindus. BJP observes Pasmanda Muslims. Prime Minister Modi is constantly trying to win the votes of the Pasmanda Muslim community across the country. The recent local elections in UP showed that Pasmanda Muslims started courting the BJP. Opposition always targets BJP for not giving tickets to Muslim candidates, but in UP local elections, BJP contested 32 Muslim candidates for the post of nagarpalika president and won 05. 90% of all candidates were Pasmanda Muslims. The move is being hailed as a masterpiece by the BJP ahead of the Loksabha elections.
