The deceased’s name is Kala. His father, Praveen Kumar is a day labourer by profession. The financial situation is not such that one can rent a car for 1000 rupees and take the child’s body to Lilonkhedi village in the Shamli district. Praveen Kumar’s ancestral home in that village. The father wanted to take the child for the last time. Allegedly, he made repeated requests in this regard to the District Hospital of Uttar Pradesh Baghpat.

Reason for death:- On preliminary investigation, the police learned that the 2-year-old child was crushed under the car near a bank on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway in Uttar Pradesh Baghpat last Friday. Annoyed by the prolonged crying, her stepmother pushed her. The incident happened after that, claimed the police. Although The stepmother of the child claims, she did not do anything to harm the child. After that, Kala’s body was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. The accused stepmother was also arrested on the spot.
The next day, while returning from the hospital the incident happened. It is reported that his elder son Sagar and a relative were also with Praveen. The same relative later give the statement that no one had arranged for a van despite repeated requests. After that, the father picked up the body of the child.
