We have all been waiting for the Brahmastra trailer, and one viewing just isn’t enough. The first official trailer for Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy’s highly awaited movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji, was released on Wednesday. This movie looks to live up to the anticipation with its stunning visual effects, outrageous action, romance, and drama.Â
The movie, which is the first trilogy, tells the tale of Shiva (Ranbir), a young man about to embark on an epic love affair with a woman named Isha (Alia). However, when Shiva discovers that he has a mystery link to the Brahmastra and a vast power within him, he is only now beginning to understand—the power of Fire—their entire world is flipped upside down.
The film will take viewers on a trip with Shiva as he enters the domain of astras and ultimately learns his purpose as the omnipotent deity.
Within the first 10 seconds of the trailer, magic is introduced, leaving you eager for more. With the trailer, Mukerji has won because his hero appears much later and allows his universe to take control first. The Astraverse is far more significant than any individual character. Therefore we hope that even the film acknowledges that.
Amitabh Bachan refers to Brahmastra in the Brahmastra trailer as “Modern Mythology,” and it is incredible how Mukerji was able to include aspects of Indian mythology into his narrative while still maintaining the level of quality necessary to compete with other global productions. I won’t ruin your pleasure by going into too much detail about the myth, but it is lovely.
Although in the trailer, when Ranbir runs into Aliya Bhatt and engages in dialogue with her character, viewers might catch glimpses of Bunny from Yeh Jawani hai Diwani. Each character’s vocal modulation in the trailer matched their portrayal exactly. Seeing Ranbir Kapoor in a heroic role as opposed to the Rom-Com protagonist he has created for himself is also quite energising.Â
Many individuals who have been eagerly awaiting this big movie now have higher hopes thanks to the trailer.Â
